Orchard Lake is just a little bit west of Pontiac. This was the last season for C&B's giant big top. As a matter of fact, it was only being used at this site as a subsitute for a brand new, somewhat smaller tent which hadn't arrived yet. Unfortunately the oldie tore while it was being erected and it took about an hour to weld on a satisfactory patch before the elephants could go to work raising the big poles.
