The showgrounds were too small for the entire Circus to set up. The FISHER BROS. drummer, mentioned on a previous page, couldn't even find room for his own little side show and menagerie.
Consequently, after feeding and watering his animals, he
took much
of the day off.
The elephant transport with bales of hay at the rear.
Even a one ring show needs pachyderms to prove that it is a
REAL CIRCUS.
